Stuff I use

Opera

I’ve been consistently using Opera since a couple of years. I love the amount of customization offered. The latest version, 10.60, released on 1 July 2010, shows a huge improvement in speed.

Opera includes a LOT of inbuilt features like Mouse gestures, Visual tabs, an e-mail client, an IRC client, a RSS aggregator, Private tabs and windows to say the least.

Chromium

I use Chromium as a backup browser for Opera. Chromium is open-source, unlike Opera and Chrome(which includes some proprietary software). There are little differences between Chromium and Chrome, Quoted from Wikipedia

Google takes this source code and adds on the Google name and logo, an auto-updater system called GoogleUpdate, an opt-in option for users to send Google their usage statistics and crash reports as well as, in some instances, RLZ-tracking which transmits information in encoded form to Google, for example, when and where Chrome has been downloaded.

WordPress

WordPress is an open source CMS, which is the most used blogging platform. There isn’t much that hasn’t been said about it, so I’ll just quote WordPress.org

WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
